A stay in Tavira is a step back into a peaceful time, where one walks everywhere, where one meets neighbors on the streets, where one gets to know restaurants and shops, very well. It is a lovely old town, a piece of history, an intimate place for rest and relaxation. Linda's house contributed to that. Located on a tiny little street, it was absolutely quiet and serene. Great light and super comfortable surroundings. Nothing fancy, but so so comfortable. I never sleep well, but there I did, for all the reasons above. It is immediately home, perfectly equipped to make a meal, watch a movie, or go out into the sunshine and meet new people by the river. You will never want to leave.
